To advocate for the immediate and long term physical and emotional needs of disaster-affected individuals and families, and strengthen community fire relief and recovery efforts by contributing to a coordinated system of assistance.
Important First Steps For Total Loss Fire Victims
1 - Contact Red Cross- Beverly 509-633-3907 or 509-670-5331
2 - Okanogan county housing authority 509-422-3721
3 - Contact FEMA- 800-745-0243
4 - Go to the relief center and get the essentials you need. (See relief center list for those addresses)
5 - If insured, get in contact with insurance and get claim started. (All State & Farmers are based in omak Walmart parking lot at this time)
6 - Call your utility companies, let them know you are a total loss and need to cancel all services! (Be prepared, cable, satellite and internet is a pain to deal with)

7 - Fill out this form to remove your property from the Assessors tax roll. They will tax you for the pre-burnt value if you don't get it off their books.

Volunteer And Out Of Area Firefighters, Please Read:
Your need to call Okanogan Emergency Management and get hooked up with their food distribution plan.
Meals, snacks, water, gatoraid etc will be DELIVERED to you.
A department member needs to call and tell them what is needed and for how many people per shift.
